Online surveying

Online surveys are a great way of efficiently reaching an audience with a request for some kind of feedback. They can support other surveying methods well (e.g. telephone or paper surveys), and also work as a excellent stand alone research tool.

An outline of the process for running online surveys:

Questionnaire
You can provide the survey questions or we can go through a questionnaire design process with you. As soon as participants submit their answers, they are immediately saved and available for reporting.

Testing
We test all our surveys as part of best practise methods to ensure the survey looks and functions as it should. Part of this process includes obtaining sign-off of the finished survey product; the graphical design, survey questions, and functionality of the survey.

Invitations
We send an email to participants introducing the survey process, including any incentive for completing the survey. This invitation email includes a link to the survey which can be unique to each respondent.

Reminders
At agreed intervals we will send out reminder emails to participants who have not completed their survey. These reminders can increase response rate and thus help to decrease the margin of error in the results.

Survey monitoring
We can monitor the progress of your survey, see how many participants have responded, and or completed the survey, and provide updates to survey stakeholders. Managing the survey also includes liaising with respondents, addressing any queries they may have.

Reporting and analysis of results
When a questionnaire is completed the results are immediately available as graphical reports and Excel downloads. We can also provide further in-depth analysis and presentation of findings. Find out more...
